Born in Mayaguez Puerto Rico in 1958.
As a child lived in a house full of art and lived while Elvis, Dylan, The Beatles, Che, MLK, JFK, Vietnam, Nixon, The Soviet Block were part of the landscape and saw the first man on the moon on TV in black and white.

BA English Literature Magna Cum Laude 1981. Attended San Francisco Art Institute, De Anza College and the Academy Art College in the 80's. Worked at an Amusement Park, assembled electronic components,drove a cab,served as tech support guy, taught HTML, taught school, before realizing there was no choice but to do what he always wanted to do, shoot and see the real world.

After being a freelancer, a staffer for a host of newspapers and working as a Photo Editor for a Spanish Language Newspaper became a freelancer again. He has one son and currently lives in Dallas Texas with his wife and two
cats.
