In a mobile wooden cart shaded by tin or some fibre sheets they set up their food stalls. You can find them every where on the streets of Kolkata. Some of them sells tea and refreshments, some bread and curry, some sweets while others different dishes - South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, etc. They are the pocket-savers for the common people who flock to the city everyday for work. Hygienic? Well they strive to be as much as they can and where possible prepare the food before serving it to you. |
